Redlake's Newest High-Performance Camera, the MotionXtra HG-LE

Redlake is pleased to announce the addition of the HG-LE high-speed digital camera as the newest member of its MotionXtra family of imaging systems. Built upon the advanced technology of the HG-100K, the HG-LE fits nicely into the MotionXtra product portfolio as a high quality mid-performance value solution. With a very fast frame rate of 1500 fps at 752x752 resolution, and even faster performance over a wide range of selectable resolutions, customers can now select from two tiers of performance and pricing all within the same networking and operating environment. A 5 micro-second electronic shutter eliminates motion blur during the recording of extremely high-speed events. The HG-LE's rugged design enables it to withstand forces up to 100G in any axis, making it perfect for automotive crash, airbag deployment testing and component safety testing.

As a self-contained camera, the HG-LE is easy to set up and ready to use with a simple installation of MotionCentralTM software and an Ethernet connection. Within minutes the HG-LE identifies itself and presents a live image on your camera control screen. This same ease of use and set-up is available whether for a one-camera system or hundreds of cameras on one network. Since the HG-LE is fully compatible with the HG-100K and prior Redlake HG2000, CR2000, and HG-TX MotionXtra cameras, integration into current camera networks is simple.

Two basic models allow customers to choose either color or monochrome according to their application needs. Both models come fully configured to meet most simple imaging needs. Redlake also makes available for separate purchase a wide range of companion accessories. For the more advanced and sophisticated user Redlake offers at no additional charge a feature-rich camera command set through the MotionCentralTM SDK (Software Development Kit).
